Woods, 43, rolled back the years at The Masters on Sunday when slipping on his fifth green jacket for his 15th career major title.

Nicklaus, who was bonefishing in the Bahamas while Woods was collecting his 81st PGA Tour title, believes the record he has held since his  historic 1986 Masters win is now in serious jeopardy.

“I’ve been saying – everybody kept asking me, ‘What about Tiger? Can he win another major?’, and I kept saying, ‘I think so. I think he will,’” said Nicklaus.

"The next two majors are at Bethpage, where he’s won [2002 US Open], and Pebble Beach, where he’s won [2000 US Open]. So, you know, he’s got me shaking in my boots.”

Woods now trails Nicklaus by one (6-5) for career Masters titles.
