Paige Spiranac snubbed by charity golf tournament for strange (?!) reason

Paige Spiranac has revealed she wasn't invited back to a charity golf tournament because she didn't provide enough coverage on social media.

The tournament in question is the annual American Century Championship in Tahoe. This year it will take place over five days from 12 July.

NEW: PAIGE SPIRANAC GOES ALL OUT FOR INDEPENDENCE DAY!

It boasts a number of star names including Steph Curry, Charles Barkley, Josh Allen, Vince Carter, Aaron Rodgers and Tony Romo.

World Golf Hall of Famer and LPGA Tour legend Annika Sorenstam will be the most prominent golfer in the field this year.

Paige took part last year and has played in the event twice overall. But she won't be back in 2023 for what could be described as a bizarre reason.

The ex-golfer claimed tournament organisers didn't believe she gave them enough exposure on social media.

That's quite a take, considering Paige is more popular on Instagram than Tiger Woods, is closing in on 900,000 Twitter followers and 337,000 YouTube subscribers.

For context, Paige has nearly double the amount of followers on Instagram than the aforementioned Romo.

Oh, and she also has her own dedicated fan website, dubbed Only Paige in a cheeky nod to the adult website.

Paige wrote on her Instagram stories:

"Everyone keeps asking if I'll be in Tahoe for the celeb tournament this year but unfortunately I didn't get invited back. Was told I didn't give them enough exposure on social media. I guess 4 million impressions wasn't good enough lol. Anyways, bummed to miss it!"

In other Paige news, she recently called out fellow influencer Cailyn Henderson for seemingly copying one of her most viral videos to date.

She also slammed the reaction to a viral Major League Baseball clip and defended PGA Tour star Justin Thomas when hot mics caught the American muttering an expletive about 2023 U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark
