Hurricane Dorian caused havoc last week as it struck the Bahamas leaving behind a path of destruction. Following the mayhem caused by the hurricane, Tiger Woods has teamed up with global-pop sensation Justin Timberlake, to raise money for the cause.

Hurricane Dorian hit the island last week, a Catergory 5 hurricane with winds of up to 225mph, a historic record as the strongest landfall winds ever.

On Tuesday, Woods took to Twitter to announce the start of the ONE Bahamas Fund “in support of Hurricane Dorian relief, recovery and rebuilding efforts.” Woods has teamed up with his close friend Justin Timberlake, as well as Nexus, RBC and the Albany.

Woods, Timberlake and co have already raised $6 million through their own donations and the group hopes that that figure will rise significantly through the efforts of the public.

“We’ve established the #onebahamasfund with a challenge gift of $6 million, matching dollar for dollar the next $6 million raised,” Woods said on Twitter. “Help us turn this first $6 million into $12 million, and join our efforts to restore and rebuild The Bahamas.”
