Golf fans looking to get hold of tickets to watch Tiger Woods battle Phil Mickelson in their upcoming $9 million match in Las Vegas are likely to be out luck.

The match will pit the two legends of the game at Shadow Creek on November 23 and it will be televised via pay-per-view.

According to reports, only a "small gathering of sponsors and VIPs" will have access to the exclusive course, which is owned by MGM Resorts International.

Mickelson recently told reporters the duel would include primetime golf, but latest reports indicate the event will be staged during the day and that "no parts of the match will be played under the lights".

The price for fans to watch this PPV clash are still yet to determined. 

Woods is currently priced up at 4/7 to get the better of Phil Mickelson, with Lefty  2/1 with some firms.
