Luke List clinched his second career title on the PGA Tour after coming through a five-man playoff to win the Sanderson Farms Championship.

List, 38, drained a 40-footer for birdie on the first extra hole (par-4 18th) to overcome 54-hole leader Ben Griffin, Ryder Cup star Ludvig Aberg, Henrik Norlander and Scott Stallings.

The American was greeted on the 18th green by his two kids and wife Chloe.

List then paid tribute to his wife for being his "biggest supporter".

Who is Luke List's wife?

Luke List and Chloe Kirby got married in 2016.

The couple met at college and have been together ever since.

They share two kids together.

It was the first five-man playoff on the PGA Tour since 2017.

List now qualifies for the 2024 Masters following his victory in Mississippi.

Griffin will be kicking himself once more on the PGA Tour having blown a three-stroke lead heading into the final round.

It marks the second time this season where he has failed to see out a victory when leading after three rounds on the PGA Tour.

Griffin even led by two strokes with three holes to play but he bogeyed the 16th and 18th to end up in the five-man playoff.

He had an eight-footer on the 18th in regulation to win but his ball agonisingly missed on the right side.

European Ryder Cup star Aberg continued his hot streak in his breakthrough season but was narrowly denied a first PGA Tour title.
