Memorial Tournament 2023: Prize purse, payout info, field
All the payout information for the PGA Tour's Memorial Tournament.
Another one of the PGA Tour's designated events is upon as, as the annual Memorial Tournament held at Muirfield Village Golf Club returns for 2023.
The tournament was founded and is hosted by the legendary Jack Nicklaus, and is played in his home state of Ohio.
As a designated PGA Tour event, the total purse this week is at $20m, with the winner earning $3.6m.
Second-place will still take home $2.18m, and third will receive $1.38m.
In addition to a more lucrative purse, the designated event's also have stronger fields than your average PGA Tour tournament.
This week's field includes seven of the world's top 10, including Nos. 1-3: Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, and Rory McIlroy.
Last Sunday's Charles Schwab Challenge winner, Emiliano Grillo, is also teeing it up at Muirfield this week.
Last week during the final round, Grillo won his second PGA Tour title, which was his first in nearly a decade. He defeated Adam Schenk in a playoff.
Also in the field is Billy Horschel, who is back as the tournament's defending champion after winning the 2022 event by four strokes at 13-under par.
