Tommy Fleetwood took to social media to show off a picture he took with his No.1 supporter (and fellow Evertonian!) from Japan at this week's ZOZO Championship on the PGA Tour.

Fleetwood was sent a letter from budding junior golfer Ryota Kato back in 2019, and so he made sure to meet up with him at last year's tournament.

Tommy shared the letter and a photo of him with Ryota last October.

"My name is Ryota Kato," read Ryota's letter to Tommy.

"I got gloves and a signature from Tommy two years ago.

"Do you remember me?

"As I love golf swing of Tommy, I practice golf every day while seeing a video of the swing of Tommy.

"As you do your best to become a pro golfer by all means, and to participate in a tour in the United States, please learn me."

Knowing full well that Ryota was once again in attendance at the ZOZO Championship this week, Tommy made sure to meet up with his No.1 fan.

Ryota was certainly dressed for the occasion as he wore an Everton FC shirt with 'Fleetwood 19' on the back.

Fleetwood is of course a lifelong Everton fan.

The Englishman's caddie Ian Finnis was also in one of the photos.

"Day 1 back in Japan is an instant reminder of why we all love coming here so much," Fleetwood captioned his photos.

"Great to be back with my man and number 1 supporter Ryota!

"Everton we’re supporting you from here too!"
