Tommy Fleetwood might be regarded as one of the world's best young talents in golf today, but the Englishman is still waiting for that elusive PGA Tour title to sit alongside his five victories on the European Tour.

Fleetwood, 29, won the European Tour's Race to Dubai in 2017 and then decided to take up the option of PGA Tour membership like many big-name European players have recently done to give them the chance to compete on both circuits.

While the European Ryder Cup hero has excelled in the majors with solo runner-up spots at the US Open in 2018 and The Open in 2019, Fleetwood is now on the verge of joining a club of players on the PGA Tour to crash the $10 million mark in career earnings without actually winning a tournament.

Fleetwood stood $29,475 shy of $10 million in career earnings on the PGA Tour entering last week's RSM Classic at Sea Island GC, but the Englishman finished one stroke shy of doing just that when carding a final-round 67 to finish tied 37th.

Nevertheless, Fleetwood will break the $10 million mark in PGA Tour earnings as soon as he makes his next cut. If Fleetwood does not win his next PGA Tour event, however, he will join a current group of eight players to have won $10 million or more in career earnings without ever winning a tournament.

On the European Tour, Fleetwood's career earnings stand at more than €19 million.

Those players to have already made that club through the years on the PGA Tour are: Charlie Wi, Brett Quigley, Graham DeLaet, Cameron Tringale, Brendon de Jonge, Jeff Overton, Briny Baird and Brian Davis.

Jason Kokrak was on this list but he managed to remove his name after winning The CJ Cup in October.
