Jon Rahm is always supported from the stands by his wife and college sweetheart Kelley Cahill.
Kelley was born in February 1994 and was raised by her mother Nancy and father Rob. She was raised in Lake Oswego, Oregon, in the United States, and has one brother called Marty.
She has a sporty background and is a graduate from Arizona State University where she participated in events such as javelin and is reportedly fond of tennis, boxing and track and field.
It was there she met Rahm and the couple began dating and moved in together in 2017. The couple reportedly enjoyed games of tennis against each other.
Though on one occasion Kelley revealed that she was so mad that Rahm beat her with “crosscourt zingers” she was furious and joked they have not stepped back on a tennis court since.
Kelley, now 27, announced that she was pregnant in November 2020. It was during a star year for the former World No.1 who had won at Memorial and the BMW Championship.
The couple got engaged in 2018 and married in Bilbao, Spain, which is the hometown of Rahm, who at the time of writing has won one major, six PGA Tour titles and is a seven-time European Tour winner.
Kelley was due to give birth during the month of the re-scheduled Masters due to the coronavirus pandemic. Rahm said he would not hesitate to walk out of the event if she went into labour.
Fortunately, he dodged that bullet and Kepa Cahill Rahm was born on April 3, 2021, at around 12.15am. Proud parent Rahm shared an image of the "greatest day of his life".
Rahm wrote: "Momma Kelley is doing great and recovering. Kepa is also in great health.
"He is 7.2lb and 20.5ins, big boy from the Basque Country. Without a doubt the greatest day of my life!"
In late February this year, Rahm and Kelley confirmed they were expecting the birth of their second son.
Kelley is due to give birth to “Rahmbino number two” in the summer.
