Blue Tees Golf might be a new name in the golf industry for many GolfMagic Readers but this relatively new kid on the block is one you will want to put at the forefront of your list when next considering a golf rangefinder.

The brand, which recently acquired Lucy Robson as one of its ambassadors, is one of the fastest-growing brands in golf with more than 50,000 golfers putting faith in Blue Tees Golf products.

Blue Tees Golf is growing all the time on social media too, so we recommend you check them out when you next go on Instagram.

The biggest plus for using a Blue Tees Golf rangefinder is the cost of its products. They are much more affordable than many other brands in the golf rangefinder market, and thankfully they all perform at a similar level.

Their rangefinders also come with a 60-day money-back guarantee as well as a two-year warranty to add to customer satisfaction levels. And so onto its latest Series 3 Max rangefinder, which we have been testing out on the fairways in some glorious UK sunshine of late.

What is the Blue Tees Golf Series 3 Max Golf Rangefinder all about?

Available in navy, black and pink at a very reasonable £199, the Series 3 Max looks incredible straight out of the box. We tested ours out in a cool navy version.

This golf rangefinder is packed full of key features, including a nifty Adaptive Slope Switch and Active Flag Lock to ensure you are not picking out that lone tree behind the pin and sending your ball 20 yards over the back of the green.

We also love its Ultra Clear Display with 7x magnification making it simple and easy to lock in your target whether that be the flagstick, a bunker, water hazard or just a general layup to the corner of a fairway.

There is also an easy-to-read display on hand with big and bold fonts that are probably the clearest on the market.

Its Auto Ambient Display is a nice touch too as it automatically adjusts to the amount of light out on the course, which was ideal for us in the rare British sunshine. It also means you can use this product during twilight rounds later in the season as it will adapt to the conditions in front of you.

In the day and age of people being turned off by slow play, this laser rangefinder is thankfully quick and easy to use. There is no faffing around for a yardage and you will be ready to play within seconds of placing it against your face.

So if pace of play is something you care for right now, we highly recommend using one of these as it's incredibly fast.

Its Adaptive Slope Switch is one of our favourite features of the Series Max 3, which can be turned on and off to comply with tournament regulations. When switched on for our casual round of golf, it really improved our levels of accuracy.

The Flag Lock and Pulse Vibration features are also first class as they ruled out any potential confusion on where the flag was on the green.

That has often proven one of the toughest aspects when using a laser in terms of correctly locating the flag and not one of the pine trees out the back door. That can really see you rack up a big number in a hurry, but there are no such issues here.

Its magnetic strip is also another nice touch as it allows you to attach the product to a golf cart or anything metallic on your bag. It's also waterproof so great for use throughout the entire season.

Verdict

Quite simply superb, and something of a shock to us in all honesty given its price tag, which is some £150 cheaper than many others.

Incredibly simple to use, comfortable in the palm of the hand, looks great, and it is tremendous value for money when you compare it to some of the more premium brands in the laser rangefinder market.

The Series 3 Max golf rangefinder does everything you could possibly wish for and with a great deal of accuracy. The Flag Lock feature is one of the best we have experienced and we also love the clarity of its display that makes it even quicker and easier to use.

It is well worth a closer look if you are in the market for a new golf rangefinder this year and you fancy saving yourself a small sum.
