Betfred British Masters prize money 2025: How much they are playing for at The Belfry
Betfred British Masters prize money 2025: Check out how much they are playing for on the DP World Tour at The Belfry Resort & Hotel.
The DP World Tour heads to The Belfry Resort & Hotel for the Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo.
This week's tournament has added significance for several golfers as it is the final counting event for European Ryder Cup qualification.
Five of the six places are confirmed, with Tyrrell Hatton and Robert MacIntyre the latest to join Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood on Luke Donald's team.
Ireland's Shane Lowry currently occupies the sixth and final automatic spot, but could be leapfrogged by Denmark's Rasmus Hojgaard (pictured).
The Dane needs to finish in a tie for 29th with one other player or better to earn the 13.7 points that would see him overtake the Irishman.
Lowry is not playing in Birmingham this week - the 2019 Open champion is in the field for the PGA Tour's season finale at East Lake.
European Ryder Cup hopefuls Aaron Rai, Matthew Fitzpatrick, Nicolai Hojgaard and Matt Wallace are in the field for the Betfred British Masters.
Captain Donald will announce his six picks on 1 September.
Elsewhere, there is a considerable amount of prize money on offer this week.
The 2025 edition of the Betfred British Masters will have a total purse of $3.5m, with the winner walking away with a cheque for $525,000.
