BMW International Open: Which players missed the cut in Munich?

We have reached the halfway stage of the BMW International Open in Germany.

And so far, the DP World Tour event is all about Brad Dalke.

The YouTube golf star, 28, is playing the tournament on a sponsor's invite and opened with a three-under 69.

He backed that up with a stunning 66 and is only two shots adrift of the lead after 36 holes.

Whilst Dalke has undoubtedly enjoyed his week so far at Golfclub München Eichenried, several other notables are making their way home.

Former LIV Golf recruit Eugenio Chacarra, who has won twice this season and is looking increasingly likely to secure his PGA Tour card via the 10 cards initiative, was among those to miss the cut.

Chacarra, who won the Italian Open last week, was among a host of players to miss the cut by one stroke.

That group included the highly-rated Josele Ballester, who does play in the LIV Golf League.

Patrick Reed was among those to miss the cut at the BMW International Open

Former Masters champion Patrick Reed, who leads the Race to Dubai rankings, will also play no further part.

The American was among the pre-tournament betting favourites but missed the cut by three shots.

It was also a disappointing week for former world number one Martin Kaymer, who could only manage rounds of 72 and 75.

Sergio Garcia's miserable week continued.

The former Masters champion, blamed a dodgy lasagne for coming up short in his bid to qualify for The Open on Tuesday, barely broke 80 in the second round after opening the tournament with a 71.

Angel Ayora, Dan Brown and Ewen Ferguson were the other notables to miss the cut.
