Irish Open Golf Betting Tips
Irish Open Golf Betting Tips: check out the latest DP World Tour betting tips from GolfMagic Editor and expert tipster Andy Roberts where Rory McIlroy starts a warm favourite at The K Club.
Looking to find a winner at the Irish Open on the DP World Tour? Well you have arrived at the right place as I reveal three each-way picks at big prices to win you some dough at The K Club.
Rory McIlroy starts a warm tournament favourite at best odds of 4/1 but that is far too short for me, especially given his recent form having finished 23rd in his last start at the 30-man Tour Championship.
Yes no doubt if McIlroy turns up in front of his home fans then he's very much the man to beat, but I do feel like he only has one thing on his mind right now and that's winning an away Ryder Cup at Bethpage later this month.
Of course, McIlroy will want to impress on home soil and build up the competitive reps ahead of Bethpage in three weeks' time, but his price for me is too skinny given what he's shown of late.
I'm almost prepared to let him win at odds of 4/1 is basically what I'm getting at...
Instead of the red-hot favourite, or even Tyrrell Hatton and Shane Lowry next up in the betting market for that matter, I'm going to give you three players at big odds who should hopefully land you some each-way value.
With all of my three picks below, you get a 1/4 the odds first five places.
As always, please gamble responsibly...
Right, let's give you my three value picks.

Jordan Smith
Best odds: 35/1
Recent form: 6 - 33 - 17
Jordan Smith had every chance to pick up his third DP World Tour title and first in nearly three years at the Omega European Masters last week but he blew his big chance with a 70-68 finish on what proved a low-scoring weekend at Crans-sur-Sierre.
The K Club is all about being solid from tee to green and Smith ticks exactly that box.
Smith is one of the best ball strikers on the DP World Tour and I think he will prove that in Kildare this week.
It's just always a case of whether the putter behaves for Smith.
The Englishman also just strikes me as a player who is on the cusp of landing his DP World Tour hat-trick and I think it might just come in Ireland.
Smith is in solid enough form to get excited about right now off the back of a sixth, 33rd and 17th in his last three starts, especially when his performance last week in the mountains should have heralded a much better finish.
I also like the fact Smith finished a respectable 12th when the Irish Open was last hosted at The K Club in 2023.
Prior to that the Irish Open was last hosted on the course in 2016 when it was won by McIlroy.
At generous odds of 35/1, I very much like a top-five place for Smith, especially if he can warm that putter up.

Thriston Lawrence
Best odds: 50/1
Recent form: MC - MC - 1
As you will know by now with my betting tips features, I love backing an in-form player and it gets no more enticing than in-form Thriston Lawrence, who shrugged off some indifferent performances of late with a deserved victory at the Omega European Masters on Sunday.
Lawrence took down Ryder Cuppers Rasmus Hojgaard and Matt Fitzpatrick along with Matt Wallace to see out a second win in the mountains since 2022.
The South African had not been at his best for a large part of the season but he put all that to one side last week and I'm prepared to chance him again, just as I will be at next week's BMW PGA where he typically plays well.
Of course it's never easy to back up a win with another one straight away but sometimes in this game it can prove like London buses.
Lawrence looks huge value at 50/1 this week, especially given he's in great form and he finished tied third at The K Club when the Irish Open was last held here in 2023.
He strikes me as a player to keep on the right side of when he's hot and at best odds of 50/1 I'm more than prepared to back him each-way in Ireland.
DeepDiveGolf Bookie Beater, Keita Nakajima, was +3 after 3 going out in the early fog, including a double finding water on his 3rd hole as weather deteriorated. He drifted to 175/1.

Keita Nakajima
Best odds: 55/1
Recent form: 55 - 4 - 17
I don't know why but I've got the feeling Keita Nakajima is going to win his second DP World Tour title soon.
I think the Japanese star is one of the most underrated players on the circuit, especially now he's back to full fitness.
He's struggled with a low back injury off and on for the past 12 months but he looks to have turned a corner heading into the end of the DP World Tour season.
Nakajima arrives in Ireland off the back of two top-20 finishes and I just like what I see about him right now.
He finished with brilliant rounds of 66 and 65 in Switzerland last week and I think he can carry that into this week.
At huge odds of 55/1, he's the standout each-way value for me at the Irish Open.
