Rory McIlroy hails new multi-year partnership: "One less thing to think about"
The six-time major winner has become a brand ambassador for Dubai-based logistics company DP World.
Six-time major champion Rory McIlroy has signed a multi-year partnership with DP World that will see two mobile fitness and recovery facilities travel with him between tournaments.
The agreement, announced on Tuesday, will also make the reigning Masters champion a global ambassador for the Dubai-based logistics company.
The two trailers will accompany McIlroy across his PGA Tour and DP World Tour schedules, providing training and recovery facilities wherever he competes.
The deal was announced two days before the Northern Irishman is due to tee off at the DP World India Championship in Delhi.
McIlroy, who appeared to settle his long-running feud with his former Ryder Cup rival Patrick Reed, is playing the first two rounds of the DP World Tour event alongside Tommy Fleetwood and Robert MacIntyre.
Each trailer is equipped with strength and cardio equipment, an infrared sauna, a cold plunge pool and a Hyperice recovery station, allowing McIlroy and his team to maintain their routines while travelling.
"When you're competing around the world, consistency really matters," McIlroy said in a statement released by DP World.
"Having the same environment to train and recover in every week gives me and my team one less thing to think about and lets us focus on preparing and performing."
DP World will oversee the transportation of the facilities between events, including shipping, customs clearance, storage and delivery.
The partnership builds on McIlroy's long-standing association with Dubai and the DP World Tour.
He has won the Race to Dubai title seven times and the DP World Tour Championship on three occasions, most recently in 2024.

Following this week's event in India, McIlroy is scheduled to compete in the DP World Tour's season-ending play-offs in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
He is attempting to win the order of merit for an eighth time.
Should McIlroy be successful, it would see him draw level with Colin Montgomerie's record and strengthen his case to be considered Europe's greatest ever golfer.
