Golf legend Sergio Garcia tees up celebrity-packed charity tournament in Austin
Record Ryder Cup points scorer Sergio Garcia and his wife Angela Garcia have announced the fourth annual edition of their golf charity event, FORE Kids ATX.

Golf legend Sergio Garcia and his wife Angela, the visionaries and founders behind million-dollar fundraising event FORE Kids ATX, have announced an exclusive partnership with another philanthropy-driven couple, television hosts Chris Harrison and Lauren Zima, starting with this year’s fourth annual edition.
The two-day gala and golf fundraiser, which is set to return on 6-7 November, benefits children and families across Texas.
Entering this philanthropic partnership with their close friends felt like a natural fit for the Garcia family, given their shared belief that children need multifaceted support – spanning quality healthcare, protection from abuse, bullying prevention and access to mental health resources and caregiving.
Harrison has emceed FORE Kids’ previous two events, and Harrison and Zima have long supported several children’s charities.
Through this inaugural collaboration, Harrison and Zima enhance FORE Kids’ charitable outreach by introducing a grief-focused organization near to their hearts, Experience Camps, to the list of beneficiaries.
Since its inception in 2022, FORE Kids ATX has raised over $7 million for organizations that improve the lives, programs and health care services for children and families in Central Texas.
“I’m so grateful to host this event for the fourth year in a row with my wife, Angela, providing much needed support to Texas children,” said Garcia.
“We are especially excited to welcome Chris Harrison and Lauren Zima as our partners in FORE Kids. Their goal to empower grieving children adds another important layer to our fundraising mission.”

Record Ryder Cup points scorer and 2017 Masters champion Garcia has called Austin home for the past eight years, and it's where he has raised his family with wife Angela, a longtime Austinite and former on-air sports reporter and host for channels like FOX Sports.
Outside of their careers and roles as loving parents, Sergio and Angela dedicate themselves to philanthropy in their home state.
In 2021, Angela founded The UGLI Foundation, an effort to end bullying and create a better and brighter world for everyone.
The organization trains ambassadors in anti-bullying solutions and provides financial resources to schools to launch or enhance anti-bullying programs statewide.
The UGLI Foundation is a returning beneficiary of this year’s FORE Kids ATX.
Harrison, a Dallas native, is a longtime television host and producer, notably hosting “The Bachelor” and its spinoff shows for nearly 20 years.
Zima, an Emmy-winning correspondent and previous host for “Entertainment Tonight,” met Harrison through work.
The couple has happily called Austin home since 2022, and married in Austin in 2023.

For Zima, grief is personal. She lost her father in 2010 and has experienced firsthand the complexities and emotional weight of grief. This has driven the couple to focus their philanthropic efforts on grief support awareness and fundraising, introducing Experience Camps as a new beneficiary to the FORE Kids cause.
A national nonprofit that hosts free healing summer camps for children grieving the loss of a parent, sibling or primary caregiver, Experience Camps also provides year-round grief support programming, and hosts weekend grief support retreats for surviving parents and children.
Experience Camps puts on camps in seven different states, and looks forward to launching its first Texas location in Marble Falls in August 2026.
Zima sits on the national board of directors for the organization, and she and Harrison have been working since 2024 to open the Texas location.
“Chris and I are honored to join as partners for FORE Kids ATX 2025,” says Zima.
“Sergio and Angela are dear friends who have done so much for our great state’s most vulnerable children. The tragic floods this summer have driven home even more for us that our state needs long-term grief support for kids and families. Experience Camps knows grief can derail a child’s life – but it doesn’t have to. We are so looking forward to this event and to a fruitful partnership for years to come. We are driven to raise money to build resilience, hope and joy for our Texas youth.”
With one in 12 children in Texas expected to experience the death of a parent or sibling by the time they turn 18, Experience Camps will be a vital addition to FORE Kids.
Additional beneficiaries for this year’s event include Dell Children’s Medical Center, Foster Village and Center for Child Protection.
The celebration supporting these charities kicks off with PAR-Tee at 6 p.m. on Thursday November 6 at Omni Barton Creek in Austin.
The theme for this year’s gala is A Night in Old Spain, a nod to the country where Garcia was born and raised.
The evening will feature a cocktail reception, dinner and a special program with words from the FORE Kids founders and partners, plus live music and dancing.
The FORE Kids Golf Tournament will then follow on Friday 7 November with a 9 a.m. shotgun start at Fazio Canyons at Omni Barton Creek.
Here, professional golfers, public figures and athlete scratch golfers will gather to golf in the name of good.
The event brings together hundreds of high-profile guests, such as former University of Texas national champion football coach Mack Brown and former professional soccer players Diego Forlan, Gabriel Batistuta and Joe Hart.
Garcia's LIV Golf Fireballs GC teammates David Puig, Abraham Ancer and Josele Ballester are also confirmed to attend and participate in this year’s event.
Additional high-profile guests and athletes attending this year’s gala and tournament will be announced at a later date.
The Garcia family, Harrison and Zima look forward to this year’s event, eager to provide more children and families with quality support, regardless of their ability to pay.
FORE Kids ATX still has sponsorship opportunities available. Sponsorships are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and will sell out.
