Jon Rahm makes outrageous albatross — but LIV Golf viewers never saw it
Thankfully a video has emerged on social media.
LIV Golf fans were left frustrated during the final round in Virginia after broadcaster coverage failed to show what was arguably the shot of the season.
Jon Rahm produced a sensational albatross on the par-5 17th at Trump National Golf Club Washington D.C., but viewers watching the broadcast never saw the moment unfold.
The extraordinary shot went unmentioned during coverage, with no replay immediately made available on LIV Golf’s app despite the league’s promise to give fans access to every shot.
Thankfully for golf fans, footage of Rahm’s albatross has since surfaced on social media via his Legion XIII account.

Rahm carded a final-round 69 to finish tied eighth on 15-under par, while Legion XIII narrowly missed out on a playoff in the team competition, ending the week solo third at 48-under par.
Lucas Herbert claimed a dominant four-shot victory on 24-under par, while 4Aces GC defeated Fireballs GC in a playoff to secure the team title.
The win marked the first of Herbert's LIV Golf career, and it came at a vital time for him as it qualifies him for the US Open next month.
Rahm will now turn his attention to the PGA Championship at Aronimink.
The former world number one is seeking a third major title and first PGA.
Should Rahm land the Wanamaker Trophy on Sunday he will then just need a Claret Jug at The Open to complete the career grand slam.
