LIV Golf UK Betting Tips
LIV Golf UK Betting Tips: GolfMagic Editor and expert tipster Andy Roberts provides his best bets for this week's LIV Golf League action.
Jon Rahm might not have brought his best stuff to The Open, but I'm confident he will defend his LIV Golf UK title at JCB.
Rahm did not play awfully by any means at golf's final major of the season with a T34 finish at Royal Portrush, but it's not what he was after by his own high standards.
The former World No.1 might seem assured of a place on Luke Donald's European Ryder Cup team this September, but he's leaving nothing to chance.
Rahm sounds more determined than ever to show his skipper that he not only deserves to punch his ticket to New York, but that he's still one of the figureheads on the team.
A victory on LIV Golf will do just that this Sunday, just as he did here 12 months ago.
Rahm raced out the gate in this tournament last season with a blistering 63 and he then added rounds of 70 and 67 to see out a narrow one-shot victory over his Legion XIII teammate and home favourite Tyrrell Hatton, Joaquin Niemann and Cameron Smith.
Last season marked JCB's debut at LIV Golf following two years over at Centurion just outside of London.
Rahm has taken an instant liking to the Staffordshire course, and I think he will take all the beating once again in 2025.
How Rahm has only won twice so far on LIV Golf is anyone's guess, but I think he finally brings up the hat-trick and first win of the year.
The consistency Rahm has shown on LIV Golf is clear for all to see.
He's incredibly not finished outside of the top 10 since he joined the league in 2024.
Hatton was left to rue a disappointing finish to his home event 12 months ago, and after a solid showing at The Open last week he will of course very much fancy his chances of redemption at LIV Golf UK.
The Englishman is priced up at best odds of 7/1, which does offer appeal for sure.
Big-hitting tournament favourite Bryson DeChambeau (11/2) will likely also have something to say about things, especially after vaulting up the board to finish inside the top 10 at The Open last weekend.
But for me, Rahm is the man they all have to beat at LIV Golf's sole English event of 2025.
Aside from a disappointing result at The Open, Rahm finished second at his home LIV Golf event two weeks ago, so the form is there.
Rahm is available at best odds of 6/1 to win LIV Golf UK at JCB, and I think that could look a big price on Sunday.
Without hedging my bets, LIV Golf UK does look a three-man shootout between Rahm, Hatton and DeChambeau, but I'm siding with the Spaniard.
As for an each-way pick for you, I'll take Sergio Garcia at best odds 33/1.
Garcia is another player who is intent on making Donald's European Ryder Cup team.
The record Ryder Cup points scorer is determined to make a joint-record 11th appearance on the European team.
Garcia knows he needs to show a bit more than he has in recent weeks if he's to earn one of Donald's six picks, but with just four more LIV Golf events on the schedule until deadline day the Spaniard will be keen to send the Englishman a timely reminder of his pedigree.
