It's no surprise Scottie Scheffler boasts a considerable net worth, seeing as he is heralded as the best golfer since Tiger Woods

The true amount of money Scheffler has in his bank account is unknown, but we can have a good go at working out just how much cash he has.

Scheffler turned professional in 2018 after an outstanding collegiate career but it took him years to get his first PGA Tour win.

That victory came at the 2022 WM Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale, whereby he picked up a winner's cheque for a cool $1,476,000.

Since then, he has been almost unstoppable.

Before he teed it up at the 2024 Tour Championship, Scheffler had surpassed $75m in official prize money earnings.

Now he is third in the all-time money list behind the aforementioned Woods and Rory McIlroy and is closing in on a whopping $100m in on-course earnings alone.

Of course, PGA Tour prize money isn't the only source of Scheffler's income.

There are bonuses, endorsements and business ventures to consider.

Let's dive in...

Player impact programme

Scheffler has received millions of dollars from the PGA Tour's player impact program (PIP).

The PIP existed between 2021 and 2024 and was seen as a way to try and prevent golfers from joining the breakaway LIV Golf League.

The Tour claimed it was a way to financially reward players who generated the most positive interest and engagement based on factors like media coverage and fan engagement.

Scheffler has earned $19.5m from the PIP but does not come close to the $45m Woods was given.

The PGA Tour now has a huge investment from the Strategic Sports Group, and the PIP was replaced with the player equity program.

Comcast Business Tour Top 10

Scheffler has also benefitted from the Comcast Business Tour Top 10.

The bonus program rewards the leading 10 players in the regular-season points list with significant financial bonuses.

To date, Scheffler has banked $23m in this regard.

He finished first in 2024 and 2025, picking up $8m on each occasion.

During its inaugural year, in 2022, Scheffler picked up $4m and a further $3m 12 months later.
