Zimbabwe's Scott Vincent and Japan's Yosuke Asaji have been promoted to LIV Golf

The two players earned their golden tickets to the PIF-backed league via the breakaway tour's official feeder, the International Series, played under the banner of the Asian Tour.

Vincent has enjoyed a stellar campaign in the 10-event series, finishing 40 points ahead of Asaji in second place after securing two wins from eight starts.

Notables who just missed out include former PGA Tour members Ollie Schniederjans and Australia's Wade Ormsby.

The final rankings in the order of merit were confirmed at the Saudi International in Riyadh. The tournament was won, comfortably, by Jon Rahm's LIV teammate Josele Ballester.

In the past, only the leading player from the International Series qualified for the following LIV Golf season but the rules were changed this year.

It is understood the move was part of LIV's bid to be recognised by the sports global rankings body.

One more player will join LIV Golf for the 2026 season via their qualifying school. LIV Golf Promotions will be held next January in the United States for the first time.

The new additions will join new signing Victor Perez. The Frenchman, a three-time DP World Tour winner, has linked up with Martin Kaymer's Cleeks outfit.

There is speculation that English pro Laurie Canter will snub promotion to the PGA Tour in favour of a return LIV Golf. The likely destination for the 36-year-old is the Majesticks outfit.

A return to LIV Golf for Vincent

Vincent, who turned pro in 2015 and represented his nation in the 2020 Olympics, is no stranger to LIV Golf.

He earned his place in the league via the International Series order of merit in 2022.

Vincent spent two years with LIV Golf before he was relegated last season.

His younger brother, Kieran, also played one full season with LIV Golf - on Jon Rahm's team - before he was relegated in 2024.

Who is Yosuke Asaji?

Yosuke Asaji is 32-year-old Japanese professional golfer.

He has four wins on the Japan Golf Tour and two on the Asian Tour.

His most recent victory at the Moutai Singapore Open significantly boosted his position within the International Series rankings.
