World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler headlines the field as he makes his first-ever appearance at the 3M Open, while defending champion Kurt Kitayama returns looking to become the first player to successfully defend the title since the tournament debuted in 2019.
Scheffler arrives in Minnesota fresh from a tie for fourth at The Open, where another superb ball-striking display was ultimately undone by a cold putter.
The four-time major champion is still searching for his second PGA Tour title of 2026 after opening the campaign with victory at The American Express.
Scheffler starts the week as the overwhelming favourite at odds less than 3/1.
Kitayama, meanwhile, will be hoping to rediscover the form that saw him lift the trophy 12 months ago.
The 3M Open is typically a low-scoring tournament, testament to Kitayama finishing 23-under par here in 2025.
Lee Hodges, who is also in the field this week, holds the tournament record score of 24-under par that he set in 2023.
No player has successfully defended the 3M Open title, giving the American the chance to make a little tournament history this week.
The field also includes former Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama, recent Scottish Open winner Tom Kim and rising star Jackson Koivun.
Newly-crowned Open champion Ryan Fox unsurprisingly withdrew from the 3M Open on Monday following his emotional victory at Royal Birkdale on Sunday.
