Austin Eckroat's winning WITB at Cognizant Classic
Austin Eckroat secured his first PGA Tour victory at the Cognizant Classic. Here are all the clubs he used.
Austin Eckroat registered his first PGA Tour victory when he carded a final round 4-under 67 at PGA National to win the Cognizant Classic.
Eckroat, 25, has only made 50 starts on the PGA Tour and joins a series of first-time winners in 2024, including Nick Dunlap and Jake Knapp.
Due to inclement weather and a loss of light on Sunday afternoon, Eckroat was forced to finish his final round on Monday with 11 holes still to play.
Having made two birdies on Sunday afternoon, the young American found himself in the lead, and began the fifth and final day with a string of pars before making back to back birdies on the 12th and 13th to extend his lead over Erik van Rooyen and Min Woo Lee.

After dropping a shot on the par-4 14th, he fought back valiantly to card one more birdie on the 16th to extend his lead to three shots.
The victory has secured Eckroat's right to play on the PGA Tour for the next two years and also earned him a place in the remaining signature events on the PGA Tour this season, as well as the Masters and PGA Championship.
A $1.6m winner's cheque is also a lovely cherry on top.
