The Charles Schwab Challenge continues this weekend.
After 36 holes, England's Jordan Smith has a one-shot lead after firing a five-under 65 on day two at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.
The 33-year-old Englishman is on 10-under overall and his nearest challengers are Michael Thorbjornsen, Ryan Gerard and major champions Brian Harman and Hideki Matsuyama.
Reigning U.S. Open champion J.J. Spaun, Akshay Bhatia and Sweden's Ludvig Aberg are also in contention.
Tony Finau and Rickie Fowler were among the notables to miss the halfway cut.
