FedEx St. Jude Championship prize money and field 2025: Check out which players made it through to the first p
The PGA Tour heads to Memphis for the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
The $20m tournament, played at TPC Southwind, is the first of three playoff events.
Runaway World No.1 Scottie Scheffler headlines the field and has a comfortable lead at the top of the FedEx Cup standings.
The four-time major champion is attempting to become the first player to win back-to-back FedEx Cup titles.
Rory McIlroy has won three overall, while Tiger Woods is the only other golfer to win more than one. The inaugural FedEx Cup playoffs were held in 2007.
Only the top 70 players are in eligible to compete this week.
The top 50 players after St. Jude will move on to the BMW Championship and the field will be trimmed to 30 for the season-ending Tour Championship at East Lake.
The aforementioned McIlroy has decided to skip this week's event.
McIlroy's decision came as a shock to some, but the Masters champion previously outlined his intentions to forego the tournament in an attempt to trim down his schedule.
That means the field for the FedEx St. Jude Championship will feature 69 players, as no alternates are allowed in.
The total purse will remain unchanged from 2024 at $20m, with the winner scooping a gargantuan $3.6m.
GolfMagic has listed the field payout information below. The field is also at the bottom of this page.
Tee times will be published on Wednesday.
