John Deere Classic prize money: Check out how much money the PGA Tour golfers are playing for this week at TPC Deere Run.
The PGA Tour heads to TPC Deere Run for the John Deere Classic.
An emotional Davis Thompson claimed his maiden PGA Tour title here 12 months ago.
Thompson came into the event in superb form, having finished in a tie for second in the Rocket Mortgage Classic a week prior.
Thompson fired a brilliant 64 in the final round to seal an emphatic four-shot victory on a tournament record 28-under par.
The previous John Deere Classic scoring record had been set by Michael Kim in 2018.
Thompson is back to defend his title this week and is joined in the field by the likes of Rickie Fowler, Max Homa and rising star Luke Clanton.
As ever, there is a huge amount of prize money up for grabs.
The 2025 John Deere Classic prize purse has received a $500,000 increase to $8.4m.
That means the winner will walk away with $1,512,000.
