PNC Championship field 2025: Confirmed teams so far

It won't be long until the PGA Tour's hit-and-giggle season is upon us. 

In December, the annual PNC Championship will once again be held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Florida. 

The tournament, previously known as the Father/Son Challenge, sees former major champions team up with members of their family for a 54-hole team scramble. 

Overall, there will be 20 teams taking part vying for the $200,000 top prize. 

This year, the PNC Championship will take place over 8-11 December. 

Bernhard Langer and his son Jason will return to defend their title they won in 2024. 

Last time out, Team Langer defeated Tiger Woods and his teenage son Charlie in a sudden-death playoff. 

At the time of writing, 10 teams have confirmed their participation. 

Tiger and Charlie are not in the field. 

Elsewhere, John Daly and his son, John Daly II, will be back. As will LPGA Tour legend Annika Sorenstam and her son Will. 

Padraig Harrington, Trevor Immelman, Lee Trevino, Vijay Singh, Matt Kuchar and David Duval will also be in action with family members.

Is Tiger Woods playing in the 2025 PNC Championship?

Tiger Woods had surgery on his back for the seventh time in his career in September. 

Woods, now 49, had a disc replacement surgery and has not revealed a timeline for his return to the golf course. 

He has already confirmed he will not play in the Hero World Challenge. 

Several medical experts have suggested it will take Woods at least three months to recover, meaning there is a slim chance he could take part. 

But the more likely scenario is we will have to wait until at least 2026 to see Woods return to action.
