PNC Championship field 2025: Who is playing in the annual parent/child PGA Tour event?

The PGA Tour's hit-and-giggle season is upon us. 

That means it's almost time for the PNC Championship at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Florida. 

German legend Bernhard Langer and his son Jason will return to defend their title over 18-21 December. 

The duo defeated Tiger Woods and his teenage son Charlie in a play-off 12 months ago. 

Sadly, Team Woods will miss out this year because the 15-time major champion is still recovering from his latest surgery. 

Woods, 49, had the seventh back surgery of his career in September and has not outlined any timeline for his return. 

Before the Hero World Challenge, Woods said that he has been given clearance by his medical team to chip and putt again. 

But he did not feel as though it would be fair to Charlie if he were to tee it up at the PNC Championship. 

As far as Woods was concerned, they would be taking the place of another team. 

In their place steps in former U.S. Open champion Gary Woodland and his son Dan. Team Woodland will be making their debuts.  

The PNC Championship has a total of 16 teams participating. 

Lee Trevino, Annika Sorenstam, Gary Player, Padraig Harrington and John Daly are among the notables taking part with their respective family members.

The winning team will split $200,000 in prize money.
