Scottie Scheffler prize money 2025: The insane amount the World No. 1 earned per shot this year
Scottie Scheffler prize money 2025: Check out how much the four-time major winner has earned per shot this year on the PGA Tour.

While Scottie Scheffler still has a serious fight on his hands to claim a second-successive FedEx Cup this weekend, in many ways this year's champion-elect has already won.
The four-time major champion and clear World No.1 one has, once again, been by far the most dominant golfer on tour this year, racking up not just a pair of victories at the PGA Championship and Open Championship, but three other PGA Tour wins at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, Memorial Tournament and last week's BMW Championship respectively.
And while a change to this year's rules means that the Scheffler is by no means guaranteed the FedEx Cup at this weekend's Tour Championship (despite a clear lead in the standings), from a financial standpoint, the American has had a year for the record books.
Scheffler has claimed just under $47m in prize money this year alone, including $23m in tournament purses and another $15m in FedEx cup bonus money. That takes his total on-course income to roughly $2.6m per tournament, or just under $10,000 per shot.
According to Forbes, the 26-year-old also earned roughly $30m in endorsements and off-course earnings last year, making him the second-highest-paid golfer in the world behind only LIV superstar Jon Rahm.
While those numbers are insane by themselves, it's worth looking at where Scheffler stands compared to the rest in the PGA Tour's overall money list—where he well and truly towers over the opposition.
Rank | Golfer | Wins | Prize Money (USD) |
1 | Scottie Scheffler | 5 | $23,962,883 |
2 | Rory McIlroy | 3 | $16,597,418 |
3 | J.J. Spaun | 1 | $12,515,222 |
4 | Sepp Straka | 2 | $10,295,894 |
5 | Russell Henley | 1 | $10,281,056 |
6 | Justin Thomas | 1 | $9,761,829 |
7 | Ben Griffin | 2 | $9,275,352 |
8 | Tommy Fleetwood | 0 | $8,496,238 |
9 | Justin Rose | 1 | $8,435,476 |
10 | Harris English | 1 | $8,229,052 |
Of course, this figure is set to balloon even further once play is finished at East Lake come Sunday. Currently sitting at seven-under and alone in second place entering day two, Scheffler seems certain to challenge for the title.
This weekend, $10m is on offer to the outright winner, and it's worth reminding ourselves that Scheffler won here last year as well—not that, at this stage, Scheffler's accountant is likely to mind too much either way.
