Scottie Scheffler confirms new sponsor ahead of 2026 PGA Tour season

Scottie Scheffler confirms Huntington Bank sponsorship and the logo will take pride of place on his TaylorMade golf bag in 2026.

Scottie Scheffler’s commercial portfolio continues to grow at the same relentless pace as his dominance on the golf course.

The runaway World No.1 has confirmed Huntington Bank as a new sponsor ahead of the 2026 PGA Tour season.

The bank’s logo will feature prominently on Scheffler’s TaylorMade golf bag, which will consist of the all-new TaylorMade Qi4D Driver

The new branding will appear beneath his name, a premium position reserved for key partners, from the start of next season.

Scheffler revealed in his final appearance of the season at Tiger Woods' Hero World Challenge earlier this month that he is yet unsure what the first tournament of his 2026 PGA Tour campaign will be — but more details will be confirmed by his team very soon.

News of Scheffler's latest sponsorship deal was first reported by Sports Business Journal’s Josh Carpenter on social media.

“New sponsorship for Scottie Scheffler: Huntington Bank,” Carpenter wrote on X.

“The bank will have logo placement on Scheffler’s bag beneath his name.”

Carpenter also noted the significance of the deal, adding that Huntington Bank recently completed a merger with Veritex, one of Scheffler’s earliest sponsors during his rise to the top of the professional game.

The post was accompanied by two images of a cap featuring ‘Scottie’ embroidered on the front and ‘Huntington Bank’ on the back — a subtle but clear signal that the partnership is already fully integrated.

But fear not Scheffler fans, his cap remains Nike —  that deal is worth big bucks indeed!

The announcement of a new sponsor comes just 24 hours after Scheffler was named PGA Tour Player of the Year for 2025, marking the fourth consecutive time he has won the award.

That achievement already places him in elite company — but the record books could open even wider for the 19-time PGA Tour winner.

Should Scheffler win the award again next season, he would become only the second player in history, alongside Woods, to win it five years in a row, something the 15-time major champion achieved from 1999 to 2003.

Woods, of course, remains the benchmark, having won PGA Tour POTY honours a staggering 11 times during his career.

Scheffler’s 2026 season is shaping up to be one of the most compelling in modern golf — not just commercially, but historically.

The American will have a chance to complete the career Grand Slam at the US Open at Shinnecock Hills, scheduled for 21 June 2026 — a date that just happens to fall on his 30th birthday.

Should Scheffler lift the trophy at Shinnecock, he would become just the seventh player in the modern era to complete the career Grand Slam, joining Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus, Woods and Rory McIlroy

It would be another defining moment in what is already an extraordinary career trajectory.

Scheffler arrives at 2026 firmly established as the game’s dominant force.

In 2025, he captured two major championships as part of a six-win season, taking his career tally to four major titles.

Those performances have helped him maintain a commanding lead over McIlroy at the top of the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR), underlining just how far clear he currently stands in world order.

It’s this combination of sustained excellence, consistency and star power that continues to make Scheffler one of the most attractive athletes in world sport for sponsors.

Huntington Bank now joins a sponsorship roster that reflects Scheffler’s status as a runaway World No.1.

The Texan is already aligned with some of the biggest and most recognisable brands in golf and beyond:

  • Nike Golf – apparel and footwear, worn head to toe
  • TaylorMade – clubs throughout the bag
  • Titleist – golf ball under contract
  • Rolex – Scheffler wears a Submariner Date on his wrist
  • NetJets
  • Turtlebox Audio
  • Veritex Community Bank (now merged with Huntington)

The Huntington deal follows Scheffler’s recent partnership with Turtlebox Audio, a brand he has spoken about helping him dial in during practice sessions and preparation ahead of tournaments.

Before attention fully turns to 2026, Scheffler still has one final competitive appearance to make this year — albeit in a far more relaxed setting.

The PGA Tour Player of the Year is set to tee it up in the inaugural Optum Golf Channel Games, where he will go head-to-head with the latest member of the career grand slam, McIlroy.

The event gets underway at 7:30pm ET on Wednesday 17 December at Trump National GC Jupiter in Florida.

Scheffler and McIlroy will serve as team captains, with Scheffler joined by Keegan Bradley, Sam Burns and Luke Clanton, while McIlroy has selected Shane Lowry, Luke Donald and Haotong Li.

The evening will feature five different skills-based challenges, offering fans a lighter look at two of the game’s biggest stars — and a fitting curtain-closer to a season Scheffler has very much owned.

With a new sponsor secured, records within touching distance and history firmly in his sights, Scheffler’s march forward shows no signs of slowing down.

You can bank on that.
