Tiger Woods is wasting little time making moves in the next chapter of his legendary career.

As questions continue to swirl over when, or even if, the 15-time major champion will return to competitive golf, Woods has dropped a huge off-course announcement that signals exactly where his focus is heading next.

Woods' apparel and footwear brand, Sun Day Red, is officially going global.

According to Hypebeast, Woods, who recently turned 50, has chosen Taiwan as Sun Day Red’s inaugural international market outside of North America, teaming up with retail group EMERS in a major statement of intent.

The move marks a bold step for the brand as Woods looks to build a global fashion and performance empire alongside his on-course legacy.

The launch will begin with a high-profile pop-up store in Taipei, running from 13 January to 1 March, giving fans exclusive early access to the collection.

Shoppers will also be able to get their hands on a limited-edition 3D Logo Hoodie, released especially for the occasion, before Sun Day Red opens its first permanent international flagship store later this year.

Woods has personally overseen the collection, which blends elite golf performance with everyday lifestyle wear.

The range features ergonomic cuts and advanced climate control technology designed to handle changing conditions — whether that’s under tournament pressure or off the course entirely.

The idea is simple: high-function gear that looks just as good away from the fairways.

The former World No.1 announced his new apparel line, Sun Day Red, in partnership with TaylorMade on 12 February 2024, at an event before the Genesis Invitational.

That came a month after he ended an iconic 27-year relationship with Nike Golf.

Sun Day Red's first collection hit retail in May 2024.

Sun Day Red's Taiwan launch comes at a fascinating moment in Woods’ career.

Having turned 50 on December 30, he is now officially eligible to compete on the PGA Tour Champions in 2026. However, his return to competitive golf remains shrouded in uncertainty.

Tiger has not played in a Tour event since missing the cut at The Open at Royal Troon in July 2024, and he has made it clear he is putting no timeline on a comeback. Behind the scenes, though, there are encouraging signs. Woods has been chipping, rolling putts and is understood to have started hitting full shots as he gradually builds up his workload.

The hope is that Woods could tee it up in a handful of PGA Tour events and selected Champions Tour starts in 2026 — with his ultimate ambition remaining the same as ever. All four majors. The first test comes in April at The Masters, a tournament he has famously won five times.

Whether Tiger’s next headlines come from Augusta National or the high street, one thing is clear: Sun Day Red is more than just a clothing line.

It’s the next phase of the Tiger Woods brand — and now, it’s officially gone global.
