Golf fans were furiously debating whether Tiger Woods has a new girlfriend after watching footage of the hall of famer in Mexico.

Woods, 47, is in the ocean-side resort town of Cabo San Lucas to watch the PGA Tour action this week.

His company, TGR, designed the course and it is the very first time one of his layouts is being played on the North American circuit.

Golf Channel got some footage of Woods at the resort which shows him gingerly navigating a set of stairs.

Woods underwent surgery again in April after hobbling out of the 47th Masters. He had a subtalar fusion surgery. The procedure alleviated the plantar fasciitis he developed but appears to have restricted his movement even further.

What caught the eye of his fans was the tattooed woman walking in front of him.

One X user wrote: "Is that his new lady?" Another said: "Who is that?!"

Take a look at the clip here posted by TWLegion:

Woods was in a relationship with Erica Herman for six years before the two separated in what appeared to be acrimonious circumstances.

Herman, who previously worked as a manager at his Florida restaurant The Woods Jupiter, claimed she was tricked into packing a bag and leaving their shared home for a vacation only for the golfer to dump her and lock her out of the property.

That came to light when she sued the hall of famer in March 2023, arguing she was owed $30m due to the way she was suddenly evicted from the house.

Herman had also signed a NDA with the golfer when they began their relationship and in a separate lawsuit asked a judge to throw it out, citing the 2022 Speak Out act.

The act was part of a wave of legislation spurring from the Mee Too movement which prevents the enforcement of NDAs in instances of sexual assault and harassment.

In May, a judge took a dim view of her claims and in an 11-page ruling stated she had failed to 'provide factual specificity' regarding any accusation levelled at the golfer.

Judge Elizabeth Metzger claimed Herman, 39, had only made 'vague and threadbare references'.
