Tour Championship: Tearful Tommy Fleetwood lets it all out after claiming first PGA Tour win

Wonderful from Tommy Fleetwood, who plays a delightful chip to around eight feet for birdie. 

Patrick Cantlay uses the slope well and will have nine feet for his birdie.

Tommy Fleetwood's approach into the 18th is gobbled up by the thick rough short of the green. 

It looks as though he has a decent lie and it's fair to say he'd much rather be there than have a 50-foot bunker shot!

Patrick Cantlay needs an eagle. His approach lands on a downslope and sails through the green. 

Huge applause for Fleetwood as he makes his way towards the 18th green...

Tommy Fleetwood takes a few seconds to compose himself on the 18th tee box.

He has driver in hand and goes after it. It's a monster drive. Perfect. 

Patrick Cantlay also hits a sparkling drive.

Tommy Fleetwood makes no mistake in two-putting for his par.

Patrick Cantlay doesn't hit his birdie putt with any real conviction and settles for a four. 

It means Fleetwood will take a three-shot lead up the 72nd hole!

He's finally going to do it, isn't he?!

Tommy Fleetwood has only 136 yards to the 17th pin that is tucked at the back left. 

His approach is average - by his standards - and settles some 27 feet away. Uphill putt, though. 

Cantlay fires a dart to nine feet.

Gulp.

If Tommy Fleetwood is feeling the nerves then he is certainly not showing them. 

The stoney-faced Englishman finds the middle of the fairway on the 17th with his driver. 

"You couldn't have placed that any better," chimes Ewen Murray on the Sky Sports broadcast.

Patrick Cantlay is also in good shape.

Tommy Fleetwood taps in for par. 

Over to you, Mr Cantlay. 

The must-make par putt doesn't drop. 

Tommy Fleetwood leads by three shots with two holes to play. 

He is nearly over the line. 

Scheffler -14 (68)

Scottie Scheffler will not win the Tour Championship or defend the FedEx Cup. 

The American was truly in contention until he came unstuck at the 15th hole. 

Fleetwood -18, Cantlay -16 (16*)

Patrick Cantlay eyes up his third into the 16th. It's okay. About 12-15 feet to save his par. 

Henley -15 (17)

Russell Henley is doing his best to pile on some pressure. 

The American gets to 15-under with a three at the 17th. 

Eagle up the last, Russell?!

Tommy Fleetwood hits an 8-iron towards the 16th green. How is it for distance? Perfect. 

Cantlay is snookered here, and is forced to chip sideways.

Right. The par-4 16th is up next  for our leaders.

Patrick Cantlay goes first, and finds the thick rough down the left-hand side of the hole. There is absolutely no future there. 

Tommy Fleetwood's golf ball flits with the fairway bunkers, but stays in the short stuff.

Tommy Fleetwood opts to putt from off the green, and his effort races past the cup. 

Cantlay misses his birdie putt on the low side, but taps in for par. 

This is a huge moment - can Tommy save par? Nope. That was always low. 

The deficit is reduced... 

Fleetwood -19, Cantlay -16 (15*)

Excellent from Cantlay to save his par at the 14th. Tommy is in for his four. 

Tommy hits a 5-iron into the treacherous, long par-3 15th. 

It doesn't end up in a great spot and he'll have plenty of work to do to save his par - but at least it's dry. 

Cantlay finds the heart of the green. 

Pressure right back on Fleetwood... 

Fleetwood -19, Cantlay -16 (14*)

Tommy Fleetwood finds fairway and green in regulation over at the 14th. 

Cantlay muscles his golf ball out of the rough with his second, but finds the sand. 

He splashes out brilliantly, though, and has five or so feet to save his par. 

Scheffler -14 (16)

Scottie Scheffler responds with a birdie after making a double at the 15th. 

Henley -15, Bradley -14 (15*)

Keegan Bradley finds the water at the long par-3 15th. 

Surely that is that for the US Ryder Cup skipper.

Russell Henley and Keegan Bradley depart the 14th green with pars apiece. 

They need birdies now! 

S. Scheffler -13 (15)

Scottie Scheffler pays the price for finding the water with his tee shot. 

That's a double. Hopes sunk for the world number one... 

T. Fleetwood -18, P. Cantlay -16 (12)

Superb stuff from both players at the 12th, rolling in mid-range birdie putts. 

Fleetwood splits the fairway at the 13th. Likewise Cantlay. 

Tommy Fleetwood and Patrick Cantlay have just been given a warning about their pace of play. 

I know I'm biased, but it ain't Tommy who is slow out there...
