Travelers Championship Live: How Keegan Bradley denied Tommy Fleetwood first PGA Tour title

Travelers Championship 2025 Live: Final round leaderboard and scores from the final $20m Signature Event of the PGA Tour season.

Keegan Bradley birdied the par-4 18th to win the 2025 Travelers Championship and deny England's Tommy Fleetwood a first PGA Tour title.

Fleetwood three-putted the 18th to make a bogey and it left the door ajar for Bradley, who converted his six-footer for a tournament-winning birdie.

Bradley finished the week at 15-under par, one shot ahead of Fleetwood and Russell Henley, who chipped in for birdie at 18.

The victory marks the eighth PGA Tour title of Bradley's career and his second Travelers Championship in the last three years.

Bradley takes home a first prize of $3.6m.

The tournament marked the eighth and final Signature Event of the 2025 PGA Tour season.

The win now vaults Bradley into the world's top 10 and up into the top 10 in the 2025 US Ryder Cup standings.

Bradley now has an almighty headache as to whether he fancies playing in the US Ryder Cup team in New York this September, or whether he wants to remain as captain.

"Go USA," said Bradley, when he was pressed by CBS' Amanda Balionis as to whether he now fancied playing on the team.

While a huge victory for Bradley, it marked yet more heartbreak for Fleetwood on the PGA Tour.

Fleetwood was seeking a first win in his 159th start on the PGA Tour.

But the wait goes on for the Englishman.

"I'm pretty gutted right now," said a dejected Fleetwood.

"Couple of wrong clubs down the last couple of holes.

"Didn't feel great out there today. I feel like there was a stretch on the back nine where there was chance for me to take control.

"Weak putt on 14, tough up and down on 16, then flushed a drive on 18 but got the approach wrong, and left the first putt in the wrong place, not the best putt and things to work on.

"Did a good job for the most part, probably the worst way to finish, leading by two with three to play, and the leading by one down the last and you don't even make a playoff.

"It's the worst way it could go, but Keegan did great. Holed the putts down the closing stretch, he hit some great shots.

"But yeah just gutted really, we'll just go home, start practice again."

Harris English surged late to finish tied fourth with Jason Day, while the world's best two players Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy closed with a pair of 65s to finish tied sixth.

Final Round Pin Positions

TPC River Highlands is going to play very soft in the final round following morning showers and thunderstorms.

It will therefore be very much a case of target golf and firing at the flagsticks.

Here's a look at the R4 pin placements:

Fleetwood comments before R4

England's Fleetwood has set up a golden chance to win his first PGA Tour title in his 159th start on the circuit... and end all that "best player to have never won on the PGA Tour" chatter.

Fleetwood has notched 41 top-10 finishes in 158 career PGA Tour starts, the most top-10s of any player without a PGA Tour win in the modern era (since 1983).

Here's what Tommy had to say after shooting a brilliant Saturday 63 to move to 16-under par and open up a three-shot lead on the chasing pack.

"I don't know, I'm on top of a lot of stat lines for people that haven't won on the PGA Tour, so to always to be a No. 1 at something is always nice (laughing).

"Yeah, of course I would love to win on the PGA Tour. I think it's like an element of your career that everybody wants, and I of course want it. I haven't, this year especially I don't feel like I've given myself -- I've given myself like a back end chance a couple of times this year, but I've not been in contention. So this is like my first real chance, so I'm really excited about that and looking forward to it.

"Again, it's easy to put pressure on yourself, and the longer things go on, the more people talk about it, of course they do.

"But there's also things that I'm very proud about as well, like my consistency, where I stand FedExCups and World Rankings and things like that.

"So there's a lot to be happy about, but, you know, of course, I'm not going to, you know, be silly and say I don't care about it, of course I want to win, and hopefully it will happen sooner rather than later."

Keegan with Ryder Cup headache?!
Keegan Bradley
Keegan Bradley

Let's be frank, it could be a very nice headache for Keegan Bradley!

As it stands, Bradley, 39, has no intentions of playing in the 2025 US Ryder Cup team this September.

He has made it clear that unless he makes the team automatically, then he will not pick himself.

But on current form, he is one of the hottest players on the PGA Tour with two top-10 finishes in his last three starts prior to the Travelers, and now he's in a tie for second heading into Sunday.

Before this week, Bradley was 17th in the US Ryder Cup standings, but that position will markedly improve with a big finish at the Travelers Championship.

We've just run a poll on X / Twitter to see what you think when it comes to Bradley potentially now playing in the Ryder Cup.

Should Keegan play in the US Ryder Cup team, or should he just remain as a captain?

Here at GolfMagic, we don't believe the role of playing captain is an option.

There is simply too much going on with player, media and sponsor commitments to do both roles in 2025.

Keegan either sticks as captain or twists and hands the captaincy over to someone else.

Let's see what happens.

An eighth career victory on the PGA Tour for Bradley tonight could very well make the decision for him.
