Which big names didn't make it to PGA Tour's $40m season finale at East Lake?
The field for the 2025 Tour Championship has been finalised after Scottie Scheffler won the second leg of the PGA Tour's play-offs in Maryland.
The field for the season-ending Tour Championship at East Lake will be without some star power.
Chief among them is two-time major winner Xander Schauffele, who misses out on a start in the PGA Tour's season finale for the first time in his career.
The World No.3 finished outside the top 30 after a lethargic finish to the BMW Championship.
In fairness to the American, the 31-year-old's season was derailed from the very beginning with an injury to his rib.
Schauffele was forced to sit out eight weeks of the campaign and struggled to find his very best stuff after returning to action at The Players.
"Physically I feel a lot better, which is a plus," Schauffele told reporters after missing out. "No sort of recurring injury, which is a plus. About the only positives I can think of so far."
Which other players missed out?
England's Matthew Fitzpatrick, PGA Tour fan-favourite Rickie Fowler and former World No.1 Jason Day were among the big names whose season has come to an end.
Michael Kim is this year's bubble boy, finishing 31st overall. Akshay Bhatia grabbed the last spot.
The aforementioned Fowler needed to finish in the top five at the BMW Championship to make it to East Lake but came up agonisingly short, sharing seventh place at Caves Valley Golf Club in Maryland.
