Who is Xander Schauffele's wife? Meet Maya Lowe
Here is everything you need to know about PGA Tour and Ryder Cup star Xander Schauffele, who tied the knot with Maya Lowe in Las Vegas.
PGA Tour star Xander Schauffele has been one of the best players in the world for a while now.
He is supported on and off the course by his wife Maya Lowe.
The couple got married in Las Vegas a week after the 2021 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines.
Xander and Maya met in 2014 whilst they were both in school.
So the story goes, the two crossed paths whilst Xander was at San Diego State University. Maya went to the University of California.
Xander graduated with a degree in social sciences whereas Maya studied science and public health.
She also has a Masters degree in healthcare administration. According to her LinkedIn page, she has worked for Planned Parenthood since 2015.
The couple have two dogs. The pooches attended their wedding and dressed for the occasion.
As of 2024, the couple do not have any children. Xander has not discussed in interviews if they plan to become parents one day.
Xander likes to keep his private life just that and therefore does not often discuss Maya.
However he did share one hilarious tale about how he found out about the big PGA Tour-LIV Golf 'merger' on 6 June 2023.
"My wife woke me up," Xander said before the Scottish Open. "I was laying in bed with my French bulldog.
"We were having a nice little canoodling session, and yeah, my wife woke me up in a pitch black room and informed me of the news
"I don't know who looked worse, me or my little guy.
"I asked my wife to tell me where the news was coming from, what source it was. It was so early.
"I just remember laying there and I wanted to go back to bed, and then I was kind of like laying there, one eye ... then my phone just started going off."
