Ryder Cup 2027: A first for golf fans has just been announced at Adare Manor
Fans will be able to stay just steps from the action as Ryder Cup 2027 unveils its first-ever official campsite
Ryder Cup Europe has confirmed details of an official campsite for the 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor, marking the first time fans attending the biennial contest will be able to stay in purpose-built accommodation adjacent to the host venue.
Located in the Mountwilliam area of Adare, the campsite sits beside the fifth fairway and will offer ticket holders direct access to the course via a dedicated entrance.
Fans will be just a short walk from the action as Europe face the United States in the 100th anniversary staging of golf’s most iconic team event.
Beyond its proximity to the course, the site is designed to deliver a festival-style experience throughout Ryder Cup week.
A full entertainment programme will run alongside a wide selection of food and beverage outlets, with modern shower and bathroom facilities also provided.
The official campsite will be operated by Pink Moon, the company responsible for camping at major events including Ireland’s Electric Picnic festival, and will feature pre-erected accommodation across a range of options and stay durations.
All bookings must be made in advance.
Further information and booking details are available via the official site: Official Ryder Cup Campsite
Average pricing is set at €151 per person per night for a seven-night stay, rising to €176 per person per night for a five-night package.
Organisers expect between 6,000 and 7,000 visitors per day to use the campsite during the championship week.
Initial bookings will open at 2pm (BST) on Thursday 11 June, on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be limited to fans who have already secured tickets through official Ryder Cup channels.
A further allocation will be released at a later date for supporters successful in the ongoing ticket ballot, which runs until 29 June.
Richard Atkinson, Chief Ryder Cup Officer at the European Tour Group, said the campsite represents a significant step forward in enhancing the fan experience.
“This is the first time we have had an Official Campsite for fans at a Ryder Cup,” he said. “Not only will it offer a unique chance to stay right next to the venue, but the ability to walk to the course each day will be especially appealing.
“We have always emphasised making the 2027 Ryder Cup as accessible as possible, and this announcement reinforces that commitment. With additional entertainment still to be announced, it will provide a festival-like atmosphere alongside one of the world’s premier sporting events.”
The 2027 Ryder Cup will take place from 13-19 September, marking only the second time Ireland has hosted the event, following The K Club in 2006.
Europe will aim for a third consecutive victory after wins in 2023 at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Rome and 2025 at Bethpage Black in New York. Luke Donald returns as Europe’s captain, while Jim Furyk will once again lead the United States.
