The Masters 2025 LIVE: Day two as it happened

Justin Rose leads the 2025 Masters at Augusta National by one stroke from LIV Golf recruit Bryson DeChambeau.

England's Justin Rose leads the 2025 Masters after 36 holes.

Rose carded a 1-under 71 on Friday to reach the summit on 8-under par.

He leads 2024 U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau by one stroke. 

Rory McIlroy looked as though his bid to achieve the career grand slam was done and dusted for another year.

But the Ulsterman roared back into contention on day two with a 6-under 66.

Scottie Scheffler, the reigning champion, battled his way to an entertaining 71.

Tyrrell Hatton, Jason Day, Corey Conners, Shane Lowry and Viktor Hovland are also inside the top 10.

After carding 31 on the front nine, Rose has moved into the lead at 5-under par.

The 21-year-old has had a horror round, failing to make a single birdie through 14 holes.

Dunlap has carded six bogeys and three double-bogeys on his way to 13-over par through 14.

He currently sits at rock bottom of the leaderboard, with amateur Noah Kent and Patton Kizzire closest at 7-over.

Last year, Dunlap became the first player in PGA Tour history to win as both an amateur and a professional in the same year.

He was also named the 2024 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year.

Bouncing straight back after he bogeyed 13th, Couples is now 1-under par through 14.

With 191 yards to the pin, Couples certainly hit the shot of the day so far.

The 1992 Masters champion is on a mission to break his own record of the oldest player to make the cut at the Masters.

He is the first player at this year's Masters to be 3 under through three holes.
