The TOP 3 best forgiving irons available to golfers in 2021

Forgiveness is one of the most desired elements we seek in golf clubs and those who don't need any are the ones getting paid to play this sport for a living.

Irons in the modern era are packed full of technology and the game-improvement iron category is as strong as it's ever been, thanks to the combination of distance and forgiveness available in a much cleaner clubhead.

There have been some incredible club releases already in 2021 and we have tested the lot, including a handful of game-improvement irons.

Check out our list below of the top three most forgiving irons that we have put to the test this year.

#3 - COBRA RADSPEED

In 3rd place is the Cobra RADSPEED irons which are available in variable length or the brand's famous ONE Length option. In the game-improvement iron category, the RADSPEED came out as one of the best irons we have ever tested in that category and the combination of forgiveness and distance available is unrivalled.

#2 - TAYLORMADE SIM2 MAX

In 2nd place is the TaylorMade SIM2 Max iron, which blew us away with how much better it felt than the previous SIM model. The SIM2 Max iron offers a lot of help across the entire clubface and we found that during testing, it produced really impressive numbers in terms of dispersion. It's an extremely comfortable club to have in youor hands and fills you with a lot of confidence when looking down at address.

#1 - PING G425

Sitting pretty at the top of our best forgiving irons list is the new G425 iron from PING. This iron simply has everything and in the game-improvement category can't be beaten in 2021. It's an incredible upgrade from the previous G410 iron, especially in terms of looks and feel. The sleek design of the G425 makes it look less of a game-improvement iron, but it certainlyu provides mid-to-high handicap golfers with all the help they are seeking. One thing tht stood out for us during testing was the high launch this iron has to offer, higher than any other iron in this category. This might mean you lose a few yards of distance compared to the others, but it makes green control a whole lot easier.
