Srixon has announced the launch of the all-new ZX Mk II woods, constructed to deliver a Tour-level performance and "revolutionary energy transfer."

The ZX Mk II fairway woods (£279) aim to deliver more power at impact. A stronger Rebound Frame design brings a seamless energy transfer from the clubface to the golf ball.

The Rebound Frame has two flex zones which work to generate more distance. Zone 1 is the driver face which deforms inwardly at impact and Zone 2 is the ring of flexibility offset from the face which deforms outwardly.

The compounded energy transfer is more powerful and efficient than standard designs. The Rebound Frame adds a 10% larger High COR area to the driver faces compared with the previous generation.

The ZX Mk II drivers (£499) feature a Variable Thickness Face pattern that is thinner in the centre and thicker at the perimeter than the last generation.

The ZX7 Mk II driver is said to deliver more control which allows golfers to easily produce the launch conditions needed for maximum workability off the tee.

The aim of the ZX5 Mk II driver is to increase confidence with a larger footprint, a flattened shape and a rear weight low and deep to launch the ball high and straight.

The ZX5 LS Mk II driver is new to this generation and features a forward-placed, adjustable 8g weight that keeps the spin low for players who want to prioritise distance.

The new fairway wood and hybrids (£239) feature similar foundational technologies as the drivers that deliver more ball speed and greater distance. The entire line of ZX Mk II woods has top-end shafts as standard options with Project X HZRDUS Black Gen 4 and Project X HZRDUS Smoke Red RDX shafts.

"With ZX Mk II, we’ve built upon the foundation of success with the previous generation," said Joe Miller, Product Expert at Srixon Sports Europe.

"Rebound Frame is a unique ball speed system that delivers a pure transfer of energy into the golf ball at impact. The result is an entire driver head that works in unison to deliver an unprecedented rebound effect that delivers maximum ball speed and ultimately, more distance."
