Matt joined GolfMagic as Content Executive in April 2021 and he has hit the ground running by helping the site dramatically increase its unique users over the last 12 months. Matt now assumes the Reviews Editor role, working closely with our Equipment Editor Alex Lodge. As well as writing buyer guides and equipment reviews, Matt also keeps our readers up to date with all things PGA Tour, DP World Tour and LIV Golf. He also gives the lowdown to our readers on everything that is happening on social media. Matt achieved a Gold Standard NCTJ Diploma at News Associates, the No.1 journalism course in the UK. Prior to joining GolfMagic, Matt reported for Sportsbeat and he wrote articles for National Club Golfer and Today’s Golfer. Matt also used to work at American Golf where he built a greater understanding and knowledge of all things golf equipment. Matt is a very capable golfer with a 7 handicap and his favourite golfers are Jordan Spieth, Viktor Hovland and Tommy Fleetwood. His favourite golf courses are Royal Cinque Ports and West Lancs, and he is a huge Arsenal fan.
