Titleist confirms yellow Pro V1 and Pro V1x balls for 2019
Team Titleist manager reveals yellow rumours are true in latest discussion thread.
Titleist has confirmed the rumours that its hugely popular Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls will become available in yellow as of 2019.
The news came to light when Team Titleist manager Mike D revealed all in Team Titleist’s discussion thread.
“Now, you may have heard some of the rumors out there that this was the year that we would finally introduce a yellow Pro V1, well, I’m here to let Team Titleist know that the rumors aren’t rumors at all," said Mike D.
"That’s right, after speaking with our product team I am able to confirm that we will be launching (sorry, I couldn’t avoid the pun) yellow Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls in 2019."
The colour addiiton has seemingly come as a result of posts within the Team Titleist community.
"In fact, Team Titleist played a pretty big role in making this happen," he continued.
"We read and shared all of the posts from the community asking for us to make a yellow Pro V1 and our R&D team went to work.
"They spent countless hours on figuring out how we could develop the best possible bright colored cover formulation. They went through numerous trials to get everything just right."
While you can be assured of yellow balls for 2019, the exact date remains unknown.
"While we can’t share any more details than this update, we did want to make sure we confirmed this exciting news to all of you as soon as possible. So stay tuned for more updates and details later in the year."
Titleist recently launched its AVX golf ball range, also available in yellow.
