Motocaddy have long been among our favourite golf trolley manufacturers here at GolfMagic, producing sleek, user friendly and genuinely innovative products time after time.

The English company is naturally best known for its high-end electric and remote-controlled trolleys, consistently pioneering in producing some of the most tech-forward and design-led trolleys on the market. But the brand's entry-level offering has also come forward in leaps and bounds over the last few years, meaning there's now a Motocaddy option out there for just about every budget.

Central to this is the SE model: the brand's entry-level electric-assisted push trolley. And now, for 2026, the SE has undergone its biggest revamp so far, offering even more value for those looking to add some electronic assistance into their walking experience without breaking the bank.

We're big fans of products that pack tons of features into sleek, simple and affordable packages, and the new SE fits this bill perfectly thanks to its suite of upgrades. The new folding mechanism is the brand's fastest and easiest ever to use, incorporating Motocaddy's patented CLICK ‘N’ CONNECT cable-free lithium battery system that pops the battery out when folded to prevent discharging when not in use.

“We’re excited to introduce the new SE electric trolley, a product that reflects Motocaddy’s commitment to delivering outstanding performance, simplicity and value to golfers at every level,” Motocaddy's Sales Director for UK and Ireland, Steve Morris, says.

“Since its acclaimed launch two years ago, the SE has been incredibly popular and we believe the new model will redefine what golfers expect from an entry-level electric trolley, bringing unrivalled styling, features and convenience to every round,” he added.

The upgraded 230W motor is quieter and more efficient than in the previous model, with nine speed settings allowing the golfer to perfectly tailor the buggy's speed to their walking pace.

Additional features include a USB charging port to keep devices powered during the round, LED power and battery indicators, a pause and resume function and full EASILOCK® compatibility for secure, strap-free attachment of any Motocaddy bag.

A high-end finish with minimal branding and sleek, automotive-inspired curves have long been Motocaddy's POD, and the SE carries this approach through beautifully. The frame is made from lightweight aluminium finished in a cool graphite black, the entire package tipping the scales at just 9.3kg.

It'll hit the market in March, with a price tag of £549. You can find out more at Motocaddy's website.
