With the PGA Tour season firmly in the rearview mirror, the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship serves as something of world golf’s winter soiree.

As the only tournament held at St. Andrews’ iconic Old Course every year, it remains a tournament grounded in legacy – a true homage to the courses and landscapes that make links golf the purest form of the game, and one that truly rings in the shift towards cold weather golf.

As such, Peter Millar is positioned perfectly as a long-term partner for this most illustrious of Autumn tournaments. While not Scottish itself, the brand’s North Carolina heritage and penchant for timeless golf style places it at the very heart of the Dunhill Links Aesthetic.

And with the tournament routinely subject to changeable weather (this is Scottish Links golf in October, after all), it’s also a stage where the brand’s gear gets one of its sternest tests on the golfing calendar.

Naturally, Peter Millar was out in force on the ground at all three ADLC venues, with a series of activations showcasing the brand’s essential core pieces and new additions that are now available as part of its Autumn/Winter 2026 collection.

Of course, it was the action out on the three courses where the punters’ attention truly laid. As one of the most prolific apparel suppliers in pro golf, Peter Millar was naturally prolific inside the ropes as well.

Tommy Fleetwood, a noted fan of the brand since his switch into apparel free agency, once again wore the brand’s garments on his way to a fourth-place finish, while ambassador Scott Jamieson, who back in August celebrated his first tour win in 14 years, once again put in a strong showing to place 35th, clad as ever in the brand’s iconic crown logo.

Central to the scripting theme out on the links in Scotland were a few core pieces that’ll slot seamlessly into the wardrobe of any golfer who routinely braves changeable conditions. The Rain Walker Jacket yet again proved its versatility, combining soft, two-way stretch fabric with windproofing and waterproofing that remains exceptionally breathable.

Meanwhile, the streamlined Walker Jacket served as the perfect do-it-all windbreaker. New for the season, the Walker merges insulated quilted microfibre panels at the front and back with a stretch knit mélange wool-blend at the sides and sleeves.

A diamond quilt lends surface interest and warmth, while the windproof and water-resistant panels allow for ample protection during inclement weather.

The cooler weather also saw the return of the Ardent Air Performance Quarter-Zip. The warmest midlayer performance quarter-zip offered by Peter Millar, it has been developed with a lightly brushed, incredibly soft stretch ribbed fleece for exceptional lightweight insulation, and a heathered aesthetic that’s perfectly in tune with the classic aesthetic of Scottish links clubhouses.
