Sorenstam is regarded as one of the most successful female golfers in history. Before stepping away from competitive golf at the end of 2008, the Swede won 90 international tournaments, making her the most successful female golfer in terms of victories.

The 42-year-old, who resides in Orlando, has won 72 official LPGA tournaments including ten majors and 18 other tournaments internationally. She also tops the LPGA career money list with earnings surpassing $22 million - more than $8 million ahead of her nearest rival, and was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2003.
