Koepka, who has two US Open titles and two US PGA crowns to his name, lines up at Royal Portrush as one of the favourites to clinch golf's oldest major title.

Not only would lifting the Claret Jug mark a fifth major title in his last 10 majors, the World No.1 would also join a prestigious group of players to have finished in the top 10 of all majors in the same calendar year that they won The Open.

The only players to have done that are Gary Player (1974), Tom Watson (1975, 1977, 1982) and of course, Tiger Woods (2000, 2005).
