Shane Lowry may well be an Open champion but he'll likely tell you his wife Wendy and two daughters mean more to him.
The golfer met his wife the old fashioned way on what he described as a 'random night out' back in 2012.
Two years after that chance encounter the 2019 champion golfer of the year got down on one knee and popped the question.
Shane has told reporters he asked Wendy to marry him on a beach in Dubai.
In 2016, the couple had a low-key wedding in New York.
Of their special day in the Big Apple, Shane told the Irish Independent they didn't want a big white wedding at home.
"Anyone who knows Wendy knows that she doesn't like the limelight or anything like that," he said. "It [the wedding] was all very chilled."
Shane and Wendy have two daughters. Iris was born in March 2017 and they welcomed Ivy into their family five years later.
Wendy is often pictured supporting her husband at each and every professional golf event he plays.
She was snapped at the Ryder Cup and also takes part in the annual Masters Tournament Par 3 Contest alongside Shane.
Wendy is also good friend's with Rory McIlroy's wife Erica.
