Garcia will not wear Green Jacket at his wedding
Masters champion Sergio Garcia makes one thing clear ahead of his big day.
Sergio Garcia has confirmed, after much deliberation, that he will not be wearing his new Masters Green Jacket at his wedding.
Garcia will marry Angela Akins in July, but had initially left the door ajar for the possibility of wearing the jacket on his big day.
“We were just talking about it. This one is a little bit too big,” said Garcia just hours after winning his maiden major last month.
“It would be nice, but I don't know. We'll get to that point when we get there.”

But ahead of this week's Players Championship, which the Spaniard won in 2008 in a playoff, Garcia had a change of heart on the topic.
“No, I don’t think so. The jacket is very special, but our wedding is its own special part of our lives,” he said.
“It wouldn’t be the right way to go there.”
