Celebrity couple Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan are revamping their £1.3 million Essex mansion with the inclusion of a new pitch and putt golf course in his back yard.

Wright, who also played for League Two side Crawley Town earlier in the season before being released, is also hoping to build a 5-a-side football pitch to go alongside the mini golf.

Mark and Michelle are said to have spent £1.3 million on their detached house that overlooks the rolling Essex countryside.

They also took the option to purchase fields at the bottom of the garden, which is why Mark is so keen on building a golf course and football pitch - two of his biggest passions in life.

They will now be spending another fortune to build a bespoke mansion that comprises a swimming pool, gym and a bar.

"Mark is golf mad and plays off a decent handicap and wants a little three-par pitch and putt hole on his land," a source told The Sun.

"And with all the grounds now available to him at his new place, he will have plenty of space for a golf hole and a small footie pitch as well."
