Relive some of Tiger Woods' greatest escapes

Eldrick Tont 'Tiger' Woods is a name that will never die. As long as golf still exists, so will the memory of Tiger Woods. The man is a true freak of nature, every time we think he's done he comes out on top once again. The 43-year-old has done it all and last week at the ZOZO Championship, Woods tied Sam Snead's record of 82 PGA Tour victories.

Snead accomplished 82 victories by the time he was 54, whereas Woods has done it at 43, meaning it's highly likely that Woods will set the new record at some point in the near future.

Woods has been riddled with injuries in the past and seeing him win the Tour Championship in 2018 was one of the greatest moments in golf history. Seeing the huge crowds follow him down the 18th is a picture that every golf fan will remember for the rest of their lives.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better for Woods, he did the unthinkable and won his 15th major title and another green jacket, winning the Masters in April.

After conquering Augusta for a fifth time, we started to believe that Tiger Woods was well and truly back. We started to wonder whether we were going to see another period of domination for Woods, where he'd continue to win more and more majors, but then the injuries came into play once again.

Woods was making rare appearances on the PGA Tour so that he was fit enough for the three other majors of 2019, but he looked uncomfortable and Tiger fans feared the worst.

Forced to pull out of the Northern Trust, Woods returned for the BMW Championship, but failed to make an impact and didn't make it to the Tour Championship to defend his title. He then revealed that he had undergone another knee surgery - which had been a success - and he planned on returning to the PGA Tour for the first-ever ZOZO Championship in Japan.

I guess nobody knew what to expect from Woods in Japan. He had played in the Japan Skins event a week before but all four players that took part failed to shine, so when Woods teed off for his first round at the ZOZO Championship, we didn't really know what state his body was in.

After bogeying his first three holes, most of us expected the worse, but how wrong we all were. In typical Tiger fashion, Woods bounced back to take a share of the lead and eventually win his 82nd PGA Tour title. Incredible.
