Sergio Garcia did the unthinkable from the cart path on the 12th hole during his first-round match against Shubhankar Sharma at the WGC Match Play on Wednesday.
After finding the concrete with his tee shot at the reachable par-5, Garcia bypassed the option of a free drop and took dead aim from 207 yards out.
But for some reason the Masters champion decided to take his new adidas Golf shoes off and play the shot in his socks. Yes, his socks.
