BMW PGA Pro-Am 2026: Groups, Tee Times and Handicaps of Sporting Stars and Celebrities
Check out the 2026 BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am tee times and playing handicaps of all the sporting stars and celebrities teeing up at Wentworth.
The famous BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am takes place at Wentworth on Wednesday 16 September, a day before the DP World Tour's flagship BMW PGA Championship gets underway on the famed West Course at Wentworth.
As ever, the event brings together a star-studded field of DP World Tour professionals with sporting legends and celebrities from across the world of entertainment.
But while the pros will inevitably grab plenty of the attention, how good are their amateur partners?
GolfMagic takes a closer look at the playing handicaps of the sporting stars and celebrities teeing it up at Wentworth, with a fascinating range of abilities on show.
Among the standout names is former England cricketer Stuart Broad, who arrives with a 4.6 handicap and will play alongside Rory McIlroy.
Elsewhere, footballing greats Gareth Bale, Joe Hart, Robbie Fowler, Eden Hazard and John Terry are all in action, while Bale's group with Ludvig Åberg also includes cricket legend Brian Lara, who has a 5.0 handicap.
There are some seriously low handicaps scattered throughout the field, too.
Mark Catton boasts an impressive +0.1 handicap, Anton du Beke is off 0.3, and Roger Steele, Trey Niven, Harrison Woan, Iona Stephen and Colin Donaldson are all playing off scratch.

Elsewhere, Olympic champion Denise Lewis has a 24 handicap, while Sam Quek and Bethan Roberts are both off 22, with Wendy Walker playing off 21.
With handicaps ranging from plus figures and scratch golfers to players receiving more than 20 shots, the Pro-Am promises a fascinating mix of golfing ability.
The BMW PGA Pro-Am sees players tee off across the course during two shotgun starts at 7.30am and 1pm.
