Tiger Woods has been priced up at 25/1 to beat Jack Nicklaus' major record of 18 majors by the time he's reached 50 years old.

Woods turns 43 in December and has so far accumulated 14 major titles, the last of which came back at the 2008 US Open.

Nicklaus was posed the major question earlier this week to which he believed Woods' chances of breaking the major record were "realistic." Read Nicklaus' thoughts here.

But with Woods earning his first PGA Tour title in more than five years at last week's Tour Championship, the former world number one has been hotly tipped to get back on the major ladder as early as The Masters in April 2019 where he is priced as the 8/1 favourite as things stand.

The bookmakers are offering 25/1 for Woods to win five majors out of his next 28, taking him up his 50th birthday on December 30, 2025.

He's also been priced up with some firms as low as 2/1 to win two more majors, 5/1 to win three more and 12/1 to win at least four more.

Fancy Woods to sweep all four majors in 2019? Bookies are offering 200/1 for him to do just that.
